Jamie Lackey earned her BA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2006. Since then, she’s had over 200 short stories published in places like Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Apex Magazine, and Escape Pod. Her fiction has also appeared on the Best Horror of the Year Honorable Mention List and Tangent Online Recommended Reading List.

Her debut novel, Left-Hand Gods, was published by Hadley Rille Books, and she’s created eight successful crowdfunding campaigns to self-publish a novel, four novellas, a novelette, two flash fiction collections, and two short story collections. She also has two novellas and two short story collections available from Air and Nothingness Press.​
She read slush for the award-winning Clarkesworld Magazine from 2008-2013, and she worked on the Triangulation Annual Anthology from 2008 to 2011. She edited Triangulation: Lost Voices in 2015 and Triangulation: Beneath the Surface in 2016.

She is a member of both the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association and the Horror Writers Association. She is on the board of Parsec.
